Pneumatic Detach (PD) is the alternate persona of Justin Brink. PD was formed in 2000 as an outlet for the exploration of one's inner self. The PD sound has been described as an oppressively brutal mix of intelligent arrangements and dark, haunting soundscapes. Justin draws inspiration from artists who make a statement with a charismatic personality and something to say, rather than from genres or categories. PD has been releasing material since 2001 on Frozen Empire Media, Hive Records and Tympanik Audio. With new releases in 2025 focused on modernizing the PD aesthetic while keeping true to its roots.
